Dr Shriram krishnamoorthy, Consultant of Shri Bone & Joint Clinic, is a trusted orthopaedics and sports surgeon in Chennai with great expertise in his field. He is national board certified orthopaedic surgeon. As a postgraduate, he did his clinical rotations in Trivandrum medical college and Observership in Sri Ramachandra medical college. He did his ATLS training in Kochi. He completed his AO Masters certification in orthopaedic trauma. During his post-graduation he presented his scientific paper in OASISCON , Palakkad which was selected for podium presentation. Following his post-graduation, he did his Arthoplasty Fellowship in Fortis, Chennai under Dr AB Govindaraj. He is ECFMG certified and did his shoulder surgery training both in Arthoplasty and Arthoscopy in Dallas Shoulder Centre, Baylor Scott White University, Dallas under renowned shoulder surgeon Dr Sumanth ‘Butch’ Krishnan. He obtained his MNAMS(Ortho) qualification under National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. He has been part of various training program, conferences and cadaveric courses held across India. His field of interest are Arthoplasty, Arthroscopy, Joint preservation procedures – Visco & PRP injections, Shoulder and sports surgery, Osteoporosis.

He has presented scientific sessions in national and international conferences. He has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals to his credit. He regularly contributes articles to newspapers & magazines. He is always involved in bone & joint awareness talks and camps for the underprivileged.

He was selected for the prestigious ISKSAA-BOSTAA travelling fellowship by the British Sports Trauma and Arthroscopy society. He was trained across different parts of England (London, Sheffield, Chesterfield and Manchester) during his fellowship.

He started his career in Fortis Malar Hospital and Kamakshi clinic, Adyar by 2015 , Later worked as consultant in MGM Healthcare from 2019-2023 and is currently practicing in Shri Bone & Joint Clinic, Adyar and MGM Malar Adyar.
